Our Daniel Hosier has recently completed and passed his exams to achieve Level 4 in Licensed Asbestos Removal for Contract Managers.
The removal of asbestos from a non-domestic setting is a complex process and requires input from a number of trained professionals. This includes supervisors, who require specific qualifications to confirm their knowledge, skills and competencies to supervise the removal safely and effectively.
This industry-recognised qualification has helped Daniel to further develop his knowledge of the health and safety requirements that are relevant to asbestos removal, the methods and procedures for removing asbestos and how to effectively manage the sites on which asbestos removal is taking place.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual/CCEA and Qualification Wales.
By completing this qualification, Daniel has come away with practical, actionable understanding of the facts and procedures of licensed asbestos removal, including:
- Health and safety of licensed asbestos removal for contract managers
- Principles of licensed asbestos removal for contract managers
- Principles of licensed asbestos removal site management
- Development of a suitable and sufficient plan of work for licensed asbestos removal
