Wilton Park Phase 3

Having undertaken two previous phases on Inland Homes development on the former ministry of Defence former school of languages at Wilton park, R Collard were awarded the third phase, ensuring the continuity of the approach on the project.

This phase included the demolition of a number of two and three storey structures, including associated foundations. The structures were heavily contaminated with asbestos containing materials, which were removed under licenced conditions by Aminate STR.

The asbestos works were a combination of notifiable and non-notifiable removals throughout 11no buildings across the site. Completing the works alongside sister company Collard demolition, made the project run smoothly with strong collaboration between the 2no divisions, giving the client a one stop solution for the completion of their scheme.

All construction waste was removed to one of our nine recycling facilities operated by our environmental business, which served to support our clients recycling ad CO2 emissions targets.

Concrete demolition arisings were crushed on site, for reuse in the new construction further enhancing the recycling and reducing significantly the vehicle movements to and from site.

  • Ecology Works- Working with the client appointed ecologist to located and safely relocate several bat species prior to works starting
  • Removal of significant Asbestos Removal- both licenced and non-licensed asbestos
  • Soft strip and structural demolition
  • Crushing of demolition arisings remained on site for use in the future construction works
